In 2024, Clouddley approached me to design their cloud platform's landing page. Having used AWS, Digital Ocean, and GCP in my own projects, I knew firsthand how technical and overwhelming these platforms can feel at first glance.
I'd spent enough time digging through AWS docs, Digital Ocean to know what new users struggle with - especially that first impression of "where do I even start?" That experience really shaped how I approached this design.
I also added some Rive animations to make the infrastructure concepts more visual and engaging. Instead of the typical static diagrams (you know, those endless boxes and arrows), I designed animations that actually showed what the platform does. When you scroll down, you see containers spinning up, load balancers doing their thing, and auto-scaling in action - stuff I wish I'd understood more easily when I first started with cloud platforms.
Components were kept straightforward:
Feature cards with Rive animations
Clear pricing comparison (because we all know how confusing cloud pricing can be)
Visual resource management previews
